Farm fresh chicken Eggs $3.00 per dozen
You can pick up at the farm each week by appointment. We like to schedule an appointment because we want to make sure that we are not out tending the farm when you want to pick up your eggs. Sometimes, we may arrange for you to pick up your eggs from a drop box if we can’t be there at the most convenient time for you.
Our hens are allowed to range free on the farm scratching for bugs, greens, and other treats in the pasture. While ranging for treats, our flock is protected from predators by Missy, one of our livestock guardian dogs.
Pastured eggs usually have thicker shells and darker more flavorful yolks.
Hens that allow to roam on pasture produce the healthiest eggs for us to eat. The eggs have the highest level of vitamins and Omega 3 Fatty Acids and the lowest levels of cholesterol and saturated fat.
