After payment, you can pick up the frozen lamb directly from the processor, or we can pick up the frozen lamb for you for a fee, and you can pick it up at goodly farms at your convenience. If the meat is not picked up within a week of notification, a small holding fee may apply.
Delivery is available for a fee upon request.
How much meat and what cuts will I receive?
The Short Answer: A lamb with a hanging weight of 60lbs will usually yield about 45-55lbs of mostly bone-in take-home meat. We will deliver it to the processor for you at processing time.
The Long Answer:
Our Katahdin lambs live weight varies between 90lbs and 120lbs as we prefer to allow them to grow naturally. The average hanging weight for a lamb is about 54% of its live weight. The “yield” or the take-home meat that you actually get depends on a few things including, the actual size of the lamb.
